Micro-needling, also called collagen induction therapy, uses very fine needles to create tiny, controlled channels in the skin. As the skin heals, it produces new collagen and elastin, gradually improving texture, tone, fine lines and scarring.
Suitable for most skin types and tones. There is a small risk of temporary darkening of the skin, which is higher in darker skin tones, and Libbie will assess your skin at consultation.
A course of 3 treatments is usually recommended, with 4 weeks between each treatment. Results build over the course, and are usually best around 1 month after the final treatment.
