What are proXN facial treatments?

proXN is a professional skincare range from Poland, built around xanthohumol, an antioxidant ingredient that comes from hops. Its clinic treatments combine gentle peels and targeted active ingredients to renew the skin, even out tone and support the skin's natural barrier.

Every treatment is tailored to your skin. At your consultation, Libbie will assess your skin and choose the proXN treatment best suited to what you'd like to improve.

How it works

Your skin is cleansed and prepared, then a professional peel is applied, chosen for your skin type and concerns. This gently renews the surface of the skin.

Where it suits your skin, Libbie may follow the peel with micro-needling. This creates tiny, controlled channels in the skin, helping the proXN active ingredients to work more deeply and encouraging your skin to produce new collagen. The treatment finishes with a calming mask and aftercare products to soothe, hydrate and protect.

A course of 3 treatments, 2 to 4 weeks apart, is usually recommended. Many people notice brighter, smoother skin after the first treatment, with results building over the course.

What happens at your consultation

  1. 1

    Your medical history

Libbie goes through your health, medications and any previous treatments, to make sure any option you consider is safe for you.

  2. 2

    Your goals

You talk through what you'd like to change and how you want to look and feel.

  3. 3

    Your options

Libbie explains what's suitable for you, including expected results, risks, side effects and costs, and agrees a plan with you. Where treatment isn't the right choice, she'll tell you honestly, and suggest alternatives or refer you on where appropriate.

  4. 4

    Time to decide

A cooling-off period before any treatment gives you time to think, with no pressure to go ahead.

If you do go ahead, Libbie will give you written information about preparing for your appointment and caring for your skin afterwards, and you'll have a follow-up appointment to review your results.
